I have been putting off getting new glasses for a long while now. The families other needs always seem to come first and honestly I am terrible at keeping appointments, things come up and I can never tell when my health is going to be limiting me. If I could just get a new eye prescription I could order glasses online!
My husband in contrast is very brave, not just because he is in the military but because he got corrective eye surgery. It was very quick and he healed quickly as well. However it requires being awake for the surgery and that is just not something I could handle. I hope his eyes stay wonderful for years to come. For me, I will keep my glasses. Chances are I will keep them until they break beyond repair and then I will spend many days half blind till I can get an appointment and then will have to wait for glasses. Why? Because I am stubborn and I know it!
Maybe in August when we do the kids check ups I will book my vision appointment time next to one of theirs as I know we will move hell or high water to get them there and thus get me there too!
