Any Kindle Experts Here?

I have a kindle fire HD 7″ and also a 3 year old. You might picture that these two little beauties go quite well together and for the most part they do. However my little girl is very fond of making the kindle very loud. If you know much about this machine you know that one of it’s more endearing qualities is that it does in fact get very loud and has a great sound system in it. This however can be a problem when baby insists it be as loud as it can be to her delight and a parents worry.
Why not just tell her to turn it down you ask? Did I mention she is 3? Often she will do this when one can not get to her and the kindle, like when driving, or suddenly in the middle of the night when she can’t sleep and wants to play an app. She is faster than I am at 2am I must admit! So I need some help!

The parental controls while great for setting limits and making sure she gets the just her kid apps and movies just doesn’t allow me to set the volume. I turn it down, she turns it up and so on. I need a way to set the max volume limit. I tried volume limiting head phones but she only wants to use them on her terms. I need some more control here!

Tell me there is an app or setting I am just not aware of that can help me with this.

Oh man! that is tough! I have no idea about options out there but as far as I know, there’s not much you can do 🙁 Maybe find another device that is more difficult to control the volume? or maybe say she has to wear ear buds or take her our and let her pick some head phones that are maybe..pink? lol

I got this sony MDR222 children headphone for my 2 YE son to use on his Kindle Fire HD. I found the max volume is acceptable, IMHO.
