This made the 2023 Amazon Prime Day Deals for home and electronics because I have literally seen security cameras prevent crimes. I have a friend in a rough area that often has people approach her door only to get to the stairs and turn around when they see the camera. I love having them because 2 of our backyard chickens went missing one afternoon when they were free ranging but we were not outside with them, this is rare, and all it took was a moment… the camera showed me a fox quickly took the hens, not to be seen again. Foxes with kits are extra bold, even in day light. So the camera ended the mystery so we could stop searching for them. For what ever reason you want a security camera is don’t recommend Ring, we have had so many issues with them and I didn’t know you need to pay their monthly fee to really use the system. This system I believe is better.
