The Ultimate Mid-Atlantic Tree Care Guide

The Ultimate Mid-Atlantic Tree Care Guide – An infographic by the team at Growingearth.com

I am finding this guide specially helpful with the home we moved into this past spring. It has 2 acres of mostly open land and some rather unfortunate dead tress on it that promised to once have been stunningly beautiful. Unfortunately between the ice storm that devastated the area and I believe insects, many of the trees perishes before we move here. Now we seek to replace them, but with what? I am really leaning towards red maple and flowering dog wood and I know we will have to mulch well. Being in an open field I am not sure how or what kind of protection will be needed though for little saplings. Always more to learn of course.

One would think trees take care of themselves but that just isn’t true. We do so much that effects them and then think little of them. We need them, our planet needs them, and really a home looks very sorry indeed without beautiful trees. Too many home owners have gone to far to protect their homes from falling trees as of late it seems. Too many yards look empty and clearly show that people just don’t know enough about the importance of trees. Take the time to plant the right trees for your area and love them!
