The Newest Home Appliance I think everyone should have! — Airfree

Chances are that by now you know how terrible indoor air quality is for everyone’s health. Most people spend 90% of their lives inside making indoor air pollution of vital importance. It has been known for years that indoor air pollution can be detrimental to your health.

Indoor air quality can cause so many health issues:

  • coughing
  • sneezing
  • watery eyes
  • fatigue
  • dizziness
  • headaches
  • upper respiratory congestion
  • Rhinitis, nasal congestion (inflammation of the nose, runny nose)
  • Epistaxis (nose bleeds)
  • Dyspnea (difficulty of breathing or painful breathing)
  • Pharyngitis (sore throat), cough
  • Wheezing, worsening asthma
  • Severe lung disease

And long term:

  • Conjunctival (eye) irritation
  • Rashes
  • Fever, chills
  • Tachycardia (rapid heartbeat, sometimes leading to shortness of breath)
  • Headache or dizziness
  • Lethargy, fatigue, malaise
  • Nausea, vomiting, anorexia
  • Myalgia (muscle pain)
  • Hearing loss

Cancer has even been linked to indoor air pollution.

This is a very scary list and a lot of motivation to make sure where ever you spend your time inside has clean air! I know so many people who suffer and never once has a doctor ever asked them about indoor air quality. Has a doctor ever asked you about it?

Give the Gift Everyone Needs! Clean Air!

As parents of course we want our kids to be as healthy as possible! For years now we have made sure to have gizmos to test our air quality and also had air purifiers. Some I have loved more than others. Now we have a new one I wish I had known about a long time ago!

AIRFREE IRIS 3000

This mighty little machine doesn’t just have a great name, it is everything you could want in an air purifier I think. It has ZERO maintenance! Not kidding. No filters to clean or replace! You don’t even open this thing up! It takes in air from the bottom, and the heat element inside (that doesn’t add to the ambient air temp!) pushes the air through the inside, zapping so many of the things we worry about and that can harm our health. It pushes the air out the top and does it’s job 24/7 with no bad side effects!

It really make no noise at all! It is warm to the touch but not hot and I don’t think is a danger to anything. Having had one for a while now, have had no issues when it has been knocked over for a while even or clothing tossed on top of it by accident. Course though I am sure it wasn’t working great then to clean our air, nothing burned down yet!

It is low energy consuming and for what it does, it is eco-friendly in my opinion, specially compared to many of the other air purifiers on the market.

You do not have to worry about turning this one on and off, it stays on all the time. You keep it in one room (so like many air purifiers you need one per room in most cases).

Seeing as it is table top size this is perfect. Doesn’t take up much space and still does a great job

    • This actually needs to be on the floor or no higher than 3 feet off the floor. It isn’t large though! Much smaller than most air purifiers!

  2. As someone whose whole family suffers from respiratory allergies, this is a great gift idea. I will check it out.

We just moved in to an older home. We decided for the country after 15 years in the neighborhood. I notice so much more dust and who knows what else. I’m talking to my hubby tonight!

  4. I’ve been wanting to get an air purifier for awhile. I think it could really benefit my family – especially my son who is asthmatic.

  5. I’ve never heard of this before but we definitely need one! The place we are staying in seems to need it!

This is such a great gift to have or give this coming Christmas. Not just this great to have but it’s very beneficial to our home especially for our kids to have fresh and clean air all the time at home.

I’ve been looking for something like this for our home. Up to now everything I’ve come across is really big or has filters that involve upkeep and replacement purchases that really were a turn off. Will have to look into AIRFREE IRIS 3000 some more. We may have found a winner!

I never realized how useful this could be! I’m concerned a bit of air pollution around the apartment from all the cars passing by. Does it help in that sense?

  9. I do agree with you. Everyone needs an air purifier in their home. I have in my bedroom and would love another one in the den.

  10. Sounds like a great product. Our furnace and AC units are very old and with our long winters, I wonder about our air quality. Then in the spring my daughter has seasonal allergies, so we can’t open up the windows too much. What a neat purifier!
