Sept 19th — The Help — #imabzzagent

Juno, I want in!

Why you ask? Because I am a volunteer on the best book site to be found online. It is called paperbackswap.com and that site says this book is worth reading.

Paperbackswap.com is a community of readers who read books, post them to the site, mail them to others and request books to be mailed to them. The site have over 5 million books waiting to be ordered. However many books are wishlisted, meaning there are none in the system and many people are in line waiting for them. I am one of the members in line for “The Help” and so this bzz campaign is perfect for me, a book goddess!

Just how badly do I and others want to read this book? Check out this screen shot, it shows the paperback edition and the hardcover edition of The Help being the #1 and #3 most wished for books on that site at the moment. I know this because I am a hard core reader.

They have near 5 thousand people waiting to read it, that is not counting all the people who have wished before and gotten the book from the site.

But you already know there is wide desire to read this book. Why me? Because I feel it shares a unique voice for a time in history that many in my generation are disconnected from. I am a homeschool mother that would love to have that my voice in my mind as I raise up my children to be accepting and to stand up for others so we can all be treated equal. We did learn about the civil war last spring but this would help with review and new project ideas. I will read this book, paperbackswap.com will see to it, but it would be wonderful if my favorite review site got this book to me to review sooner!
