These are wonderful bed time snacks for those like me who snack at night! This can be an aweful habit but one hard to break as it might well be rooted into who we are as Animals. Our body knows it will be resting and it wants to fuel up before doing so, or so the theory goes. Sadly, for those of us “over nourished” already, we don’t actually need the extra calories and junk from the low quality snacks we tend to reach for.
They are packed with protein and fiber to satisfy and not crash your diet or keep you up all night. For me, I love cereal at night, only my body really doesn’t and I end up awake and uncomfortable and regretting my choices. Only memory fades and cravings hit and I end up in the same spot a few nights later. With these little bars that fit perfectly in the night stand there is no regret. They are crispy and taste good, are heavy and filling. If you don’t tend to like protein bars though, these may not be for you! For me these stopped the cravings and the munching!
Personally I think “nightfood”is awesome and they are coming out with more flavors I hope to get!
