Looking at these two photos can you see the difference? They make me giggle a bit because I have been in both positions and they are as different as they look in these photos. I have been the woman laying on her back in tears and scared pushing a baby out with all sorts of medical workers around me. I have been the woman sitting up with a smile pushing her baby out in a comfortable home birth without the fear. Fear for me at least = Pain.
