Our youngest little girl is of course crazy about all things horses! While there are many horse costumes out there few of them met our needs! Some are very cool costumes that make it look like the child is riding the horse, we know from our youngest riding a dinosaur last year that it makes traveling tricky. You see we tend to trick or treat in our small neighborhood and then drive to some of our favorite decorated for Halloween neighborhoods too. Getting in and out of car seats was hard with those big clunky costumes. So one of our important considerations for all costumes for 5 kids has been making sure the costume is car seat friendly and travel friendly.
Why this is our favorite costume this year!
After much consideration we have chosen this Colorful Rainbow Pony Costume as of favorite this year! It is car seat friendly, the tail and main compress without being a danger in a seat as there is little bulk! This costume will travel well!
This costume is very durable and just the right weight! Our little one can wear what ever she needs to for the temperature here, who knows if it will be warm or cold, under the pony costume. The hood will help protect from the wind too! I love how this whole costume is one piece, nothing to lose!
Best Pony Costume!
I mention the pony costume is durable because our little one has been wearing it off and on for weeks now! This is her, at the tender sweet and messy age of three using the vacuum to clean up the blue play sand she had spread all over the room! She was very pleased with herself both in the mess and the effort to clean it up! She is just so cute! This costume has been through a lot!
One of the reasons this costume is our favorite this year is the details of this Pony Costume! Squeee! It is so squishy and soft and silky and sparkles!
The colors are beautiful and work together well! I love that the costume is a light color perfect for a little one joining older siblings trick or treating in the dark! Our son is being Harry Potter this year and it is so dark! He is a very safety minded child so I am not too worried but for little ones I like light colored costumes!

Shipping is fast with this company so if you haven’t gotten costumes yet, there should still be time to order online! Many local places might have limited supply but the nature of online shops like this let them have many costumes still available! They don’t just have costumes though! I ordered halloween home decor from them too as they have Nightmare Before Christmas items I just love!

So while I would love to make costumes, this year I knew with how busy things are it wouldn’t happen, specially not seeing we are a big family. I love being able to easily buy costumes and having no fuss! So many options for kids to choose from, no melt downs in the store if they can’t find the right size, no awkward conversations explaining just why a costume isn’t a great fit for a certain situation. Getting costumes online is just easy! Wishing you all more treats and no costume tricks this year!

Oh this costume is adorable!!! My kids are getting older now and they are more into Ninja and Zombie costumes now, I wish I could get them to wear something as cute as this Unicorn costume!

Well, if she’s anything like my son was at that age, she’ll be sleeping in it. Every costume we got our son, he slept in them. And…wore the heck out of them way after Halloween was over.
