News: Hobby Lobby Files Lawsuit Against Health Care Law

Yesterday I was very disappointed to read news about Hobby Lobby filing a lawsuit challenging the health care law that passed in this country because they do not feel they should have to provide health care to women to cover birth control to include the morning after pill that they consider abortion as it is against their religion.

Since when is it ok for a company to force their faith on their employees?

Using a bit of religion “logic” here but didn’t god give people the right to choose himself?

Who are they to take it away? Not to mention that birth control is a health issue, some women if they became pregnant could actually die. The morning after pill is used in rape cases. What if there was a company that size that wanted to provide no health care at all because it is against their religion and people should just suffer and die if god wants them too? Would that be ok?

Not all my readers will agree with my stance and that is ok. I respect your right to choose for your own body. I however don’t respect anyone who thinks that the religion they believe in should be forced on others bodies.   Many women think that Muslim women are oppressed. They would not want to wear the head garment and live by that religions beliefs. Same with this in my opinion. Don’t try to force something on my head (NOT that anyone is) and don’t try to tell me what to do with my body or how to protect my health.

Hobby Lobby has lost my respect and my business.

You can sign the Hobby Lobby petition found here already past 10k people to tell Hobby Lobby to support women’s health care.

I respect that Hobby Lobby is closed on Sundays but I think this is going a little too far.
