While breast is best and I never get sick of saying it formula has it’s place. It helps fill on where my milk can’t, but again, true physical issues are not common. We didn’t just use it till her Dr told us to do so.
Before picking a formula we talked to the Dr and did the normal research one should do for most anything but specially something so processed doing into someone so small. We stayed clear of

Because of the 5 million recall of 2010 because of bugs in the formula.
Breasts don’t tend to get recalled… not because of bugs. But alas, when plan A doesn’t work we have to pick something from the second best group!
I hurts my heart to see our baby with a bottle. I try and stay clear of them when ever possible actually. My husband makes and gives her as many as possible as he knows it bothers me and is so supportive of nursing and me keeping my head on my side of things.
