Each evening of December the children get a new book to unwrap from the Bedtime Elf all the way up until Christmas!

Each morning the children look for the Bedtime Elf to see if she brought them a book. It is always in the same spot. The children wait all day the excitement building, wondering what the book will be about. Often they have been about winter and snow and so many delightful things, this night though brought a book that surprised us all!

Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Eye-Popping Oddities

This book is 256 pages that seeks to entertain, educate, and inform kids. I now though do not recommend it before bed time. Many pages where just too much for my 5, 8, and 10 year old children right before bed. While many pages are fantastic, some are just very shocking and scary to them they told me. Eye popping is right! You might though not have sensitive children so this might not be an issue!

Our 8 year old daughter liked the Animal Chapter the best. We joke that she is our little forest creature and this didn’t shock me that this was her favorite section of the book!

Mega Migrations Page won my 5 year olds vote on favorite page. This book is filled with big and exciting photos!

The page about a full size t-red made from recycled parts captured my 10 year old sons interest. He is now wondering if he could make one, though small enough to fit in the house he said!

This book would make a great gift got child that loves to learn odd facts and isn’t very squeamish!
