For the first time this September I am starting to believe that Summer is moving on and giving way to fall. The weather today was in the high 70’s where as last week it was mid 90’s a few days. Summer was such a beautiful adventure for us but I am glad to see her changing.
Summer traditionally was a time of work, for many of us though it is a time for play with children out of school. No longer to children tend to help tend the fields or fish on fishing boats. Summer is a time for vacations and beach days and adventure. Fall is back to work. Once it used to be a joyful time of harvesting what one worked so hard on. For us it is a reminder to get back to working hard. I look forward to the hard work though. I think work is a blessing.
Playing was fun but when the day is done work helps me sleep better for work means security and security can still be life and death.
Fall is a beautiful time of year. If only winter didn’t follow. LOL. I love summer the best!
