My family adores our Alexa lives. It is hard to imagine life without this technology. Of course we could do it, but why would we want to? I have to giggle thinking back 20 years ago when my very wonderful but stubborn father saying he would never get a computer. He did in fact take a great deal of time to finally come around and then suddenly he was doing everything online from bills to shopping to learning new skills. He finally got cell phones, he did though resist texting, but he was so happy when I got him a kindle. Sadly he didn’t live long enough to see the age of Alexa and talking to a smart house. If he was still here, I would be getting him one of these for his home to go with his awesome TV. In the end, my Dad came around to see how helpful technology came be and how it can change lives for the better in little ways.
It is just so nice to wake my whole house up playing a happy silly song just by telling Alexa to play “We are the Dinosaurs, everywhere!” and suddenly there are marching little kids pretending to dinosaurs.
I think everyone owes it to themselves to meet new technology head on and dive in to make their lives just a little bit better. Music can improve quality of life and I think too many people forget about this.
