Thankful for my Children and Family

I like the trend the last few years of people sharing the things they are thankful for. So often we are busy rushing around and we share our hardships and being thankful is something we are not too mindful of. Even if we are mindful, sharing our gratitude in a life that can be tragically too short I think is a gift to others and ourselves.

Today I am thankful for my children who are such amazing people. My oldest, Hope Pixie, is now 15 years old. She went trick or treating with her younger siblings, her 4 year old cousin, her Dad and her Aunties. She was dressed as the Tardis. She is such a fan girl when and so am I! She is sweet and kind not growing up too fast. I love that about her. She knows how to have fun. She also has a sense of humor that I lack and I think that is fantastic. She gets great grades but most importantly she loves her online school. I of course adore her as does her Dad.

Next is Mr. Handsome who is 8 years old and went trick or treating as Pikachu. He is a fan boy as well well and also loves minecraft and Doctor Who. He is a gamer through and through but he can put screens aside and often does just to play. He is a sweet boy who helps his sisters and gives great hugs. He loves dinosaurs and dreams of bringing them back to the planet as pets. He is a rather quiet and happy boy.

Nest is Storm Baby, she is 6 and was a fairy this year. When telling others about her I can’t help but use the word special. She still often makes more animals sounds than words in any given day. She is like a little adorable forest creature. She likes books but loves all things Animals. She gets along with animals more than people. She is smart and has bursts of such energy and loudness and pulls others along with her on adventures. She is really delightful and I have to say I like to cuddle with her the many nights she finds she still needs night time parenting. Moms bed is always the most comfy place right?

In this photo on the far left is my Nephew. He is 4 years old and crazy about all things cars and trucks and trains. He knows everything about them and was happy to tell me about them on our visit. He is also a little giggle man and likes tickles so much. I would do about anything to make him smile and giggle, it is a magical sounds I have to say. He is so much fun to be around!

Not pictured is Smilie Baby, oh what a spirited one she is, specially when we travel. She is strong willed and knows what she wants. She doesn’t however clearly always tell us what she wants. Above all else she loves letters…. she is 4 and has been reading for a year now. Her vocabulary is growing and growing and it can be hard to keep up. She is a very gifted little one to say the least. She keeps us on our toes!

We had a great visit with family and I am reminded how lucky I am to have them. I am thankful for them, and so many things.

I hope you have loved ones in your life to be thankful for too.

Aww this made me smile. Armani keeps reminding me that he loves his family and frequently asks when he will be seeing them again
