Teen Room – Are we done yet?

Our teen has been working on painting her room for over a week!

She will not let us help!

Heck, we told her she would need more paint and she would not believe us until the can was empty! Off for more paint. She is not even on the second color yet and she thinks she might want a 3rd. I know dealing with females can be difficult at times. I am one after all and we tend to change our minds but this girl is making me a little batty if you can picture it.

Can I just mention she let her 6 and 4 year old siblings help in her room and now there is plum paint in all sorts of places around the house. Thankfully it came off the kids at least!

Dear daughter seems to have taken a break from painting to my dismay. She keeps going back to the topic of new furniture and I keep telling her that I will not fork out any cash till she gets the room painted. She wants to plan the design. It is not like it would be hard, not like it is planning office space. It shouldn’t take long and there is not a billion considerations. She has so much great built in storage at least so that is not a worry. Wish my bedroom had the space and storage hers done. She is so lucky this house is historic and that we can’t get a queen mattress up the stairs. Thus she has the master bedroom and the walk in closet and another double closet in the room. The room can at least pull off the color I think.
