Before anyone starts to think that my dear homeschooling family has perfect days, know that not all of them are wonderful. Though today was fun. This photo was a reminder that I don’t always get what I expect I will. The children have desires, plans, and moods all their own and those do and should effect our days. I don’t expect my children to be seen and not heard, I do not expect them to not voice their opinions and needs and even wants. I want to know what they think. Homeschooling is about them, they get a say! They do not run the show mind you, we don’t leave them to free fall. We do however want them to feel supported and secure.
