Gift giving can seem complicated to some people and over and over I am asked for ideas on what to send people. I love sharing great discoveries and the latest and greatest gift ideas. For Mother’s Day I could give you a great big list. I could tell you what I am getting my own Mother, but instead, I will tell you something simple. Send your love, send Flowers.
I don’t think I am special in the fact that I love flowers. I love them when ever I see them. They never fail to make me smile. The last few months, indeed the last few year, there have been a lot of grief flowers in my life. There too though have been “just because” flowers and “cheer up flowers” and “Mommy I picked this for you!” flowers. All of them have meant so much. So I know that some of my kids will be getting me flowers this Mother’s Day and I am excited!

As a military family we move around often. In some homes we have had gardens, but that isn’t something we can do much of here so an indoor garden is something we are growing. When I saw this bouquet in the water pitcher I loved it instantly. It has peach spray roses, pink alstroemeria, and burgundy cushion spray chrysanthemums is accented with bupleurum, dusty miller, and leatherleaf fern. The beautiful white roses and the texture of the dusty miller are a combination that is now one of my favorites.
