Liquid Soap Nuts From Green Virgin Products

If you know me then you know I am not at all a virgin to green products but I rather like the name of this company, it is the idea of something untouched. So many of our house hold products are filled with toxic chemicals. Sure a little of this or that isn’t harmful but we know chemicals are building up in our bodies. Newborns are not even safe from enviornmental toxins. A study showed cord blood in some babies had over 180 kinds of toxins that are all linked to cancer. We have to do better about protecting our families an we know that starts with being careful with the everyday chemicals we subject ourselves too.

This is where soap nuts come in. I have tried them before, they are natural (though of course not everything natural is safe). They work, and they are not too very hard to find. What I like about liquid soap nuts though is that I feel like the active ingredient is already broken down and makes it easy to do the washing. Not to mention the bottle takes up less space! A little goes a long way too. With my high efficient washer one bottle can do 120 loads. I haven’t done that many with this bottle but I can see how that is possible.

I have been using this with no fabric softener and yes, the clothes are soft! This product is hypoallergenic too of course.
