Review – I Do 3D Pen 4 Pack
With these 3D pens you can create over 20 designs. It comes with design ideas you can trace and put together along with instructions, 4 – 3D Pens, Pen Tips, Hardening Flashlight (It does not include the 3 – AAA batteries you will need), and tracing sheet. You can buy these at Walmart, Mickael’s, and Amazon! They range from $19.99 to $24.99 making this a great price for a great gift.
This is the kit and you can see it came with 2 red 3D Pens, 1 yellow, and one green. So of course we had to make a Christmas tree. We went with our own design and not an included one.
Each 3D pen comes with it’s twist tip much like the kind school glue comes with.
You need a screw driver to get into the battery compartment. Part of me likes this as kids are forever swapping batteries out of things, another part of me found it annoying as I don’t think batteries are a huge safety issue for kids this toy is age ranged for, the 8 to 99 Crowd as the box says.
We drew out the pattern, placed the tracing sheet over it, traced it with the green 3D pen, and then held the flashlight over it to harden it. It didn’t take long. Then moved the tracing sheet, and did it again. We did this 5 times.
After all pieces where created putting them together was easy, just add a bit more green from the green 3D pen and use the light to weld them together! It didn’t take long.
We made some little round balls to decorate our little tree and a star for the top too.
It looks so very cool!
How it looks from the top!
And done!
What do you think?
We love it!
