Review: Glasstic Glass Water Bottle

I was glad to have been given this water bottle for review because it is eco-friendly and has a leak proof lid. It is also shatterproof! I used this cup for weeks and adored it. The heart pattern made me smile every time I used it. It was easy to take apart and clean too. Notice I am speaking in past tense? More in this in a minute!

This bottle has a weight to it and I wouldn’t recommend it for running but otherwise it travels very well be it in a stroller, baby bag, gym bag or otherwise on the go. Adding Essential Oils to it is simple and and unlike small mouth bottles, it isn’t messy. You can put other drinks in this bottle of course without worry of degrading plastic sitting next to your drink. It is generally accepted that plastic isn’t great for acidic drinks and essential oils so a glass drinking bottle is especially great for that use.

16oz pure glass insert, third party tested, on the inside where your liquids are and a BPA Free plastic outer shell around the glass to provide durability and containment. While the glass is shatterproof, the plastic is not! I was walking with my bottle and it slipped from my hand and the plastic top shattered. It was heart breaking. So my advice if you are planning to get one is to be more careful than I was! Use the handle it comes with, I was holding on to the smooth side. This really could have happened to any water bottle that has a plastic top.
