I was so excited to learn about Click Whiz Block Block Magnetic Toys MasterGear Set as I knew this would be a great STEM toy for my little builders. The kids where instantly excited when they saw the box and even the 16 year old daughter jumped in to play and explore this toy with our 9 year old son, 7 year old daughter, and 5 year old daughter. This toy says it is for ages 6+ and given the size of the magnetic toys and the lack of small pieces I would say it can go younger as well! I played with these and I found them fun too!

Magnetic Blocks 2

Two of the kids building great together helping one another create what ever they imagine. I loved how well they shared all the pieces and took turns. This kit lets kids build cars and towers, buildings and animals and so much more.

Build confidence in children as they develop understanding of different shapes, mathematical and scientific concepts by building their own creations with motion.”

Magnetic Blocks 3One of the ideas the kids came up with was a space ship that fit two of their little people in it! They where specially proud of this creation. These 3D magnetic toys work well with other toys the children have.

I have to be honest, I thought the gears would be the kids most favorite part of this toy and they were at first but quickly the gears were some what of a disappointment. The are difficult to use and once you get them attached they do not spin well and wobble on their access points and magnets are not strong enough to hold it all together with the friction of the gears moving. Our 16 old jumped in to trouble shoot and once she hit her frustration point I jumped in to figure it out thinking it had to be user error, after a while I found myself frustrated too. Neat idea but difficult to play with.

Magnetic Blocks 5

Over all we love the brightly colored 3D magnetic block pieces. They lend themselves to great building and imaginative play. They are strong, safe, and fun to play with! I think collecting the whole set will be a goal of the kids now as they really like these, despite the aggravation with the gears.
