My family is up north at my Dads house at the moment. We like coming up here as Grandma helps so much with the kids and does all the cooking with Grandpa and it really is a break for my husband and I. The kids enjoy spending time with them, not to mention they know we will go see cousins and find fun things to do.
My husband and I relax by sleeping in knowing the kids are well taken care of down stairs. It is very comfy time I have to say. We could vacation some place hot, with beaches, but really going north is what is most relaxing, at least till the kids are a bit older and then I think we might let them spend vacation up north while my husband and I find an adventure together. For now though, north it is.
North might soon get snow, something I have badly been wanting. The last two winters have disappointed us. It might only be 6 inches of snow, or less, but snow is snow and it is exciting to the kids and I. I think even my husband who is often cold is looking forward to the snow!
