In trying to simplify our lives, live more simply, we adopted a tradition dear friends have for their children, a party every other year for birthdays. The none party years will be household birthday celebrations. We added a tradition to our household birthdays, the web of life! In short, it is a blessing you where born, what you do matters, your beliefs in the world are true, you do not have to go it alone and we are all connected in the web of life. Our webs are yarn that is maze all over the house. Notes are left on it, instructions, hints, gifts. For our oldest daughter, her web went out side even through cars and around the house and in another door. It was a wild web. This one for two of our littles was lower to the ground and less complicated. They begged for a web before their birthdays and where thrilled to see it. They chased it and had a great time.
