Notes from Vacation

Love in 2012 = Two matching laptops side by side in bed!  

It is hard to believe that we left home 4 days ago already. I feel like I have missed so much online and am feeling rather lost. I am going to blame that lost feeling among other reasons as to why I actually got my family lost tonight on our way to see family for a BBQ. 

I am not a girl who needs fancy vacation. I like to avoid big crowds, and shopping is not really my things. Sitting around with family though watching the children play is very much my thing and what I love about visiting up north with family. One of the other things I love about visiting up north is that Meme and Pepe take great care of us all, no laundry for me to do, no cooking, no dishes. It is so peaceful for Mommy and Daddy while Meme and Pepe take over. We slept in embarrassingly late today as baby was up most of the night and she slept in too. Meme took care of the other children and we had not a worry! 

Home late now and 2 of 4 children are asleep having played hard with cousins today. Hotty Hubby and I are up side by side online. Again I am feeling lost. I must be forgetting something. What ever it is will have to wait because come morning I am taking a very very special women out! 

My Meme is 95 and declining in health though she has great care from my parents and good health care. It is what it is when we get so old. For her birthday gift I am taking her to get her hair colored. I need a trim as well. I think everyone has talked me out of bangs…..  

Tomorrow is an Anniversary close to my heart as well. I am so very lucky! I think tomorrow will be a great day. We might even make it to a children’s museum to hide from the heat. I found a place to rent a wheel chair from for my Meme to come too, though getting her to accept sitting in it will be a whole other story I think. LOL She refuses to use a cane even, she says she does not want to look old. What does one say to that? 

The end of the weekend will = lots of books for me and I will have lost to read for the few weeks my children are spending up here with family. Goodness I will miss them! You all will help keep me busy I hope!
