I Love Snow But Inside a Movie Theater?

 Best Snow Photo of 2013

My friend Heather Dost is becoming a great photographer and one of the photos she took this winter is now my favorite for 2013. It is stunningly beautiful with detail and depth and so much texture. I adore snow and as we are soon moving down south where there will be no snow I find myself craving it.

As we have gotten so little in this part of Maryland this year my husband thought to take me to see a rather thing, snow inside a movie theater! It was an Ice Age Christmas story in 4D playing in the National Aquarium. We went with Memere and Pepere and 2 of our children and everyone liked it. Our 6 year old daughter though was the most impressed I think my the snow and she was so excited and trying to catch the falling flakes. The show kicks out the cent of pine, the seat kicks you when your not expecting it, you get sprayed with water and the sound in the theater along with the 3D glasses is just such a fun and full experience, though it is a short one!

So here I sit looking at the predicted weather for this area for the coming weekend. One says there is a 80% of a little now, the other site says only 30%. I hate hitting update for fear the numbers will be even lower. I guess we could travel to see the snow, but it isn’t the same thing as having it in your back yard. Clearly though I will take it where ever I can get it, be it an indoor theater with real snow or a beautiful image of snow taken by a friend. I am holding on to hope that we will get one big storm here before we have to move away. I just hope it is not ON moving day! Enjoy the snow if you have and of course keep safe!
