Family Movie Time – Boss Baby Family Business

My family has long been part of the review community but honestly things got a bit slow during covid so we were especially pleased when we got the offer an advance screening of THE BOSS BABY: FAMILY BUSINESS to watch in our own living room. As kids under 12 still can’t be vaccinated, this was ideal for us. You too can watch Boss Baby Family Business at home if you like using Peacock, an online streaming service!

In this sequel to wonderfully funny and creative comedy, the Templeton brothers—Tim (James Marsden, X-Men franchise) and his Boss Baby little bro Ted (Alec Baldwin)—have become adults and like so many many, drifted away from each other. This rather hit home actually and pulled on the heartstrings for sure.

Boss Baby: Family Business rocking a Stay at Home Dad!

Tim is the older brother from the first Boss Baby movie and in this sequel we get to see his adult life, married to an amazing woman who brings home the bacon while he supports her and is rocking as a stay-at-home dad of 2 daughters. Of course he has his struggles as we all do and I think this part really speaks to the parents who watch the movie.

Ted, who was Boss Baby, has grown up and not shockingly is a hedge fund CEO. He predictably seems to have no real human connections and sadly sends gifts on holidays rather than show up.

Boss Baby: Family Business Review

This movie is a bag of giggles for the whole family while also touching on some important family topics that can be hard on the heart.

It is easy to slip into this fantastical world where babies rule and they can just fly up into the clouds to the boss baby headquarters. Things have changed of course but that is inevitable and a good lesson for us all.

There are “feels” and action and cleverness that captured us all. Our summer family of 9 here ages 5 to 45 all loved Boss Baby: Family Business. We think this it well worth seeing in a theater if you are all doing that now, or the drive-through, or thanks to the streaming service Peacock, in your own living room!

Without giving too much away, my favorite laugh had to do with “No…. Stop…. Ahhhhh” and that is all I will say about that. LOL
