The holiday season is many things to many people. Traditions old and new are shared and grow and change. The internet I think helps with the sharing and the growing. I wonder how else the internet affects our holidays. One thing is certain, there is a new kind of giving that is going around that I didn’t see in this light even a hand full of years ago, the gift of giveaways.
This morning I was delighted to see a friend had won an ipad mini. What luck! The one of her friends mentioned that she had won two such items in the last few weeks. Looking around facebook, it clicks, there are many giveaways going around and this is the time of year to win them maybe. I myself won a giveaway for homeschoolers! More on that one when I get it though.
If you look around my blog, you will see giveaways here too. I love running giveaways for my readers and visitors. They are fun and they give people a little hope. Some times I share giveaways from other bloggers and site too.
There is a giveaway going on now, the Bounty Christmas Giveaway for my UK friends and readers that looks like fun. You can win 100 dollar, or rather pounds in shopping vouchers. It is a bit different than some of the giveaways I normally see and you need to have a free account with to enter it. Check it out if you can.
