Is Mom Burnt Out

I am a bit burnt out honestly. It is a bit hard to admit it because no mother wants to look weak but the reality is that moms get burnt out sometimes, everyone does really. What really matters is how we handle it. I was looking at ways to de-stress, to have less things on my shoulders for a bit. Between all the groups I am part of, blogging, reviewing, networking, plus sewing orders, homeschooling, mothering, puppy training, house cleaning, spring cleaning, minimizing, cooking, crafting, traveling, field trips, fun with the children, planning so so much and dealing with my husband in the military, and health issues I am bit stressed. Does this sound familiar? I bet you have a list like this too. Normally we manage it all, sometimes though it is just so heavy even if you love it all normally.
I knew that I needed to spend more time outside in nature, that I needed to take the time to find local quiet spots to enjoy. It feels so busy and full here in Maryland though. Even the idea of search for a place makes me tired. LOL It is needed though, my whole family needs it. But when? We have so much to do. The house runs functions the way mother functions and so I need to make time. I need time to read for the pure love I have of reading, without the weight of a review! I want to do more art projects without being grumpy that I forgot to take photos for my blog here. I need more time to day dream under the trees with my children and not have such a huge list waiting for me. How though?
I need a break from the online world I love so much. I adore you all. I have a passion for learning and my readers and friends online teach me so much. I over extended myself a bit though. I did not want to leave my daily readers without something interesting to read so thanks to a brilliant and creative friend who suggested guest bloggers you will have some new voices share enlightenment on some different topics. I have them all lined up starting on Saturday for a whole week! I have just two more reviews to do, 2 more sewing orders and them I am on Staycation to recharge. I know it is needed and I know I will make sure to take care of myself and stress less. I am also giving up a few other things for the week that should help and have given my husband permission to hide all my internet devices should he find me spending too much time online and not enough time on the things loosely planned to relax.
For now, 2:30am calls and I am going to check again on all the children, smile at the light bunny, and try to find dream land. Wish me luck! I hope next week is beautiful for all of you. If your burnt out, change something! Try to energize with what ever time you can make, thing outside of the box and ask your friends and loved ones for help!
