Like a lot of people it seems, I too need a new Camera. Why? Because mine is over 4 years old and after many drops it just does not focus like it should anymore. I know, I know, bad photographers like bad gamers always blame the camera or controller. Really though, this old Canon needs to replaced!
When my little sisters photographer could not make the wedding she asked me. I freaked honestly and got very worried. My camera is not up for it and I could not replace it in time with a camera worthy of the event. Thankfully many others would be taking photos as well.
Still, I wanted something with at least better mega pixels and so got a cheap point and shoot 16mp.
This was a mistake. While I used both my old camera and the new one, more photos than not came out un-focused or with too more noise in them and there was really no way to fix them as I could not shoot in RAW. What a disappointment. I thought I was getting fantastic shots as they looked good in the small LCD screens but when uploaded to my computer it was clear, that so many photos where not actually clear at all.
I need a new Camera!
I think I will buy a camera online next time. I am fairly certain that it will be a Nikon as friends who are actual photographers say that it would be my best bet for quality that will last and also give me the flexibility to grow with the camera as my abilities grow with experience. I am not sure what model to get though, is D90 still the one to go with or will a D3100 fit my situation better? No matter what I get, I think I will get a kit that includes a starter lens or two.

I love Canon. Use a Canon in the rebel series. Many photographers think is the equipment. I have even done galleries with my rebel.
