Normally I would not give a toddler a box of snacks but she wanted them and I wanted photos, plus they are Organic so that helps with any Mommy guilt right?
As you might know, I am a very happy Earth’s Best Blogger for a few months and my children are joyfully play testing and tasting so many of their products.
One of the ones we specially like are these Organic Letter Block Cookies. They taste great, yes, I have munched on them too. I posted a photo of my little eating them on my personal facebook page and another mother said something that made me giggle knowing I do the same thing and think the same thing.
The beautiful mommy said: those are good cookies – i used to sneak some from the kids haha
They are good and they are entertaining! My 2 year old tries to say letters, my 4 year old tries to say and eat them very very fast, and my 6 year old makes words. My 12 year old tries to make funny words!
We know that little ones play with their food, heck, not so little ones do too. Why not make it more educational? Try sitting down with a book and a bowl of cookies and having your toddlers match letters to some in the book, or have pre-k children copy and then eat words with cookies. Have Kinder children copy the cookies to work on handwriting, and then they can eat their snack!
