The story of how this company got it’s start in inspiring. After a summer of back breaking work Susan Petersen scrapped together $200 to start Freshly Picked. She had designed her heart out to make quality soft soled baby shoes and working at her kitchen table with tiny budget, she came up with these adorable shoes that are everything I could want as a parent for my little ones. I can’t even tell you how many other cheap leather baby shoes my family has tried, I wish we would have had these sooner! These are well designed, durable, safe for little ones growing feet, and most importantly, they stay on her feet!
If I counted right, there are nearly 45 different colors that these moccasins come in. The one we picked out is called Frosted Rose. Here is a better picture of them:
I can’t describe how soft the insides of these are! Of course all my kids wish they had a pair! They fit true to size to be sure to measure your little ones feet correctly. This is their sizing chart:
As you can see the sizing is generous and goes up to what I would think are pre-school sizes. The size we picked was 7 and fits our 4 year old. She is in love with them. I can tell she will soon be too big for them but as they are so well made they will be handed down to a cousin who will love them!
I love that this company strives to be green and understands what parents are looking for in little ones shoes.
