This crunchy family is also a very geeky family and we like to consider ourselves early adopters. It might be shocking then that this is the first smartwatch we have had in the house in a while. To be fair, a certain someone can’t wear such a device to work. I though have no such issue! Long ago though I gave up wearing a watch as they where single function devices and then having tried the early smartwatches that disappointed I let the notion of loving them go, till I saw this watch! Oh the sparkles! Really though, I wanted something that could help me stay better organized and help remind me of things in ways my smart phone just doesn’t.
Fossil is of course a fantastic brand well known, trusted, and loved. Wear OS by Goggle is what is capturing everyone’s attention. This watch can be used on Android Phones and iPhones too. This is important to me as I have an iPhone and my next upgrade is planned to be an iPhone too. If that plan changes however, this smartwatch will work either way.

This stunningly beautiful rose gold watch is the newest thing to make my life sparkle and I am learning more about it everyday.
One of the things I am currently loving is an app that works with it to help remind me to move more. I can get to wrapped up in writing or reading for hours on end I forget to move. It is startling to look down and see it is lunch and I have less than 100 steps done. I can’t blame all that on this comfy little cottage either! I also have reminder to make sure I drink enough water. Such a simple thing and yet, I really like the reminders. I think these two things help me to let go of stress more in my life.
Too often I look at my computer and cell phone as extension of work! I don’t look at this watch that way. Watches have gone from single function devices to small little tech bots to help us live better, the way we want.
I want one of these so bad. It sounds like an amazing watch. I hope Santa brings me one.
The Gen 4 Fossil Smart watch is a very nice looking watch. Like the looks of it right off the bat when I first saw it.
