My children know a very special secret that maybe not everyone knows. They know that if you plant jelly beans on the Eve of Easter that come morning something magical will have happened to them!
Spring is a special time of year, where things hidden start to grow. Wrapped warm and dark in the ground seeds break open and stretch up to toward the light. For as long as humans can remember we have been celebrating the return of string, the green little signs of returning life, and the hope of a fertile year. What are planting that you wish to grow in your own life this year I wonder?
My children have all sorts of wishes for this year, more time outside, to travel and seem family and friends, to explore more together as a family. My 5 year old storm baby wants to see more horses. Our 7 year old son wants to see more fish. Our teen wants to swim a lot, get back to learning how to play the guitar, and bake more yummy things. Little things that make me smile to know and helps me know what to help them with. Do the people in your life know what things you wish for? If they did maybe they could help too? For me, I am in hopes of getting better with my camera and getting a great zoom lens for it! I hope to keep working on getting better organized. I plan to keep working on my health and trying to manage my Fibromyalgia so that I am more functional. All these little wishes planted in our hearts, now we have to help them grow!
