Dear XXXXXXXXXXXX,
Respectfully I must disagree with the mailing you sent out. I received two for two of my 4 children today and was rather taken back by the lack of legal understanding in the notice. In multiple places the notice states that vaccinations are required for school and certain grades. There is NO mention of the legal right to exempt children for medical or religious reasons that near ever State in our country has. As someone damaged by vaccinations and a strong belief in informed consent among other things I am disturbed by such a mailing that seems rather uneducated in and of itself. Child absolutely can go to public school without vaccines and with vaccine waivers. Vaccines are NOT a must to enter Kindergarten, nor any other grade for that matter.
Beyond the legal right to not vaccinate for a number of reasons personally having been harmed by a vaccine I believe we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t vaccinate. Personally though I will not knowingly put poison and harmful things into my children that can not be removed should they have a reaction as well. So I right the slight chance they may become sick if they encounter an illness. Those vaccinated have a small risk they too might still get the illness and they can pass it on still as it turns out. See my side though for a moment… For sure putting something into my children that has caused me much suffering or risking that they MIGHT become ill.
In any case, I felt compelled to contact in you because of the lack of legal information in your mailing on this important topic. I do so hope those that come to get vaccinated are fully informed of the side effects and are given the inserts to these vaccinations just in case and that the Drs are aware as well so that anyone who might be harmed can file a claim with our great nation under the vaccine injury compensation program.
