Nights like this make me so happy with my life. It was about 10pm and our Smilie Baby a bit over a year old had no interest in sleep. This is not uncommon. She however is such a happy baby and often is just happy to know we are in the room with her and not asleep. She is so adorable.
I love that Attachment parenting, and our research into unschooling has helped us let our children have some rhythms of their own without feeling the need to “sleep train” them just because it might be easy for us. My husband and I sometimes remind one another about our goals when the other might be losing track of them. Wonder husband is amazing and sweet and such a great father.

We will let our children cry alone in a room away from us just so we can sleep. Really though I can’t see how any one sleeps well that way anyway. -shrug-
