The fun starts with some crayon bits, small hands, and the hope of heart crayons to send as Valentines by the youngest. She is very good at breaking and pealing crayons!
– Crayons
– Oven 250
– Heart Pan
– 20 Minutes
And we have hearts!
What we learned:
This is a lot of fun, specially for the little ones!
Using quality Crayons would be better!
Don’t use the darker colors!
We do this every year and have a great time. A few things we’ve figured out:
– quality crayons help
– try specific color combos (all pinks, a pink and brown combo, greens and blues, and our favorites are earth ones!)
– don’t fill the cups too far, makes it too thick.
– using a syringe you can suck up the extra wax from cheap crayons while it is still hot.
– if you’re not happy with one, break it up and try again!
– metalic crayons make really cool ones, lol!
