The 3Rs are never far from thought here. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. This was specially the case when saving up my children’s jeans with holes in them. I was not really sure the best way to make them into jeans. I was fairly sure I was going to need to sew them though.
Being short on time trying to pack for our coming vacation was not the best of timing for this project but my oldest daughter insisted I do this for her as she has out grown the ones she had gotten at the start of summer already. I scrambled to find a good video online to help me quickly. I went through 8 less than helpful and less than modest videos that had me so very aware of what a mother I am and why it is important to supervise what kids post online.
Finally I found what I needed, a short, entertaining, modest, and helpful video. It even showed me how to manage shorts without sewing, thus saving me time. This is the video:
