It was so long ago but I can remember it so clearly, The Phantom of The Opera!
I was a young girl the first time I saw it. I was an usher in a special group as part of a high school English class. We would go to the Providence Preforming Arts Theater dressed up in uniforms and seat the guests and then we could watch too. The first time I was on the balcony sitting on top of the right speaker. It boomed with the music making it move through me. It was exciting and all consuming and I love it. I went again and again, penguin tie I so despised and all. I think no matter how many other shows I watch, it will remain my favorite. I shiver just thinking about some of the music even.
