In Maryland and other places there is an on going crime in my opinion that is not getting enough notice!
While all around it seems like there are legal battles, people needing help and looking for a california criminal lawyer to defend against legal things like medical marijuana. Others can walk all over our constitution and few bat an eye lash. This is not to say I support marijuana as my personal opinion is that it is a gate way drug but that drinking kills more people. It is though legal and yet people are having to find criminal defense attorney los angeles and wasting how much tax payer money? At least though if they have to fight the system, they can get support. Unlike the people I am now concerned about.
Places like Marylands Department of Corrections, a government agency, and other places started to demand the user name and passwords to social networks like facebook. How is this legal? We have constitutional rights! How is this different than them asking the post office to deliver your mail to them so they can read it too? Yet it is happening. At least in Maryland the ACLU stopped the Department of Corrections from making it mandatory. Now however during interviews they ask applicants to open their facebook accounts and click through pages that the public would not normally get to see. It is optional but no one refuses, specially in this job market. THIS should be criminal! Why is not more being done?
It is not just this one agency though or this one state. Some colleges have been demanding this information too. One would think they would at least know better. What is this country coming to?
I am a military wife. My husband risks his life to defend this country, our constitution. This does not make me more special, it however might be why this makes me more angry. This action is not constitutional and we need to stand up and say no. Someone needs to bring charges up against them until this stops all together.
