My house hold is lucky to have very few health and diet restrictions but we know so very many other families that have them, we try to be accommodating! Of course this is no easy matter when some have corn allergies, others peanut allergies, and some gluten issues! It sometimes feels like Moms who have to juggle those things must have a PHD and be a master chef on top of it! I envy their skills but not the hardship they face out in the world. We want to make it easy to come visit us for play dates!
Today baby and I went shopping with another Mama and her baby! They are a gluten free and very healthy home. While at Publix I found myself feeling bad as organic pizzas went into my cart followed shortly by a few bags from the chip isle and other things I knew this family could never eat. I knew that we would have to plan to make sure we have food for our friends in the house, they are wonderful, and sharing food is a cultural thing that spans the globe. But what besides fruit for the babies that they could both like?

As we just moved, we found a Publix closer to the new house that we hadn’t ever been to before. We had to ask where the baby isle was because it wasn’t in the normal place, it was near the pharmacy in this store! Still all the great baby items we expect at Publix! My baby of course was not impressed with me taking photos while she was trying to shop. Also, she has resting grumpy cat face!

Baby has enjoyed a few canisters of Lil’ Beanies now this past few days. She really likes them! I love that they are packed with nutrition and not junk food and she likes them so much. I waited to see if her diapers would show some kind of reaction and all is normal!
Please excuse the mess and the snot! A few hours after shopping for these it was made apparent that my kids are sick! Infact over our moving weekend many people got sick, Strep throat! Not even being sick though can slow this baby down!
Baby is eating and drinking well and I think will be right as rain again soon!
