This tall box is a joy to get. I knew exactly what it was. It came flat and I thought, oh no…. the plant! However this company knows just how to protect it’s precious cargo!
Very little soil was free in the box and the plant was safe!
Plant was easy to get out of box and everything about it was perfect. I didn’t even have to repot her!
I should tell you now, I fell in love with this plant. It is rather an odd thing. Of course I love plants but with 5 kids and so many pets, they haven’t tended to last long in my home. However this plant was just mine, in my work space, it kept me company. The day it went droopy I got very sad. I thought I was already killing it. You see I had opened the plant but not the treasure box, I was waiting for my camera battery that had been lost in an order hit by a tornado at an Amazon warehouse. I kid you not. So this plant and I waited. I gave it water and worried. In a few hours though she was perky again, he leaves reaching up and looking strong. I felt better too! And a so it went, she would droop, I would give her a bit of water, I would remember I needed self care too, and by the time I was done focusing on myself, she would be perky again too. She has become my spirit plant. Yes, yes, yes, I am science minded girl but I am also a creative soul that likes fiction and personifying things. So let me have this without judgement. I love this plant. She reminds me to take care of us both.
This is my plant when she is droopy. I know, she looks so bad. Just give her water though and she is back to perky so quickly. I love love her.
2 weeks later my camera battery showed up and it was time to open the treasure self-care box!
The theme each months is based around the new moon with larger theme being self care and wellness so knowing this, I was delighted with what was inside the box. Everything is beautiful!
So I discovered I need to get to know this camera again and fix my lighting so I am sorry the photos are of better quality. Hopefully to can see how fantastic this box is.
So this is the care instructions for the plant. Turns out she can be a bit toxic, another reason I can keep her in my work space away from everyone else! However this space doesn’t have good light for her so…. of course I bought her a plant light!
I love the Rose Quarts, it is very beautiful. It holds more meanings to some but as I am not very spiritual, it is added beauty in my life that I really like. On of the other things was this Activated Charcoal Deodorant. I love how it smells and have been testing it out. I admit, it is a bit odd, but I like it so far! I am glad this box is introducing me to new things!
It came with scent sticks, and these are helpful when trying to change moods. As a writer sometimes I need to snap my mind from mommy mode and work mode to writing mode and scents help me a lot with this.
With first orders you also get this intention journal kit and I really like this as so many now have detailed planners but so often their lives are about everyone else, this is just for you, to set your intentions. Dreams are just dreams till we write them down and make them into plans as they say. This is a bit like that. I have big emotional things going on that I have been pushing away so I can function and focus on the important things in my life right now, like being a good wife and mother. However I know I need to deal with those things and something like this might really help.
New Moon, New Me CollectionThis is a box I am now getting for myself each month. It makes me be more mindful and I need this. I wish I had found Lunarly sooner. I am a nature and science minded woman, and this might seem something for those more spiritual but I think it can work for everyone. It is just so beautiful and lovely.

I don’t have a lot of subscription boxes. The only ones I have are usually for the home. I will have to look into Lunarly. This looks like a subscription box I would totally look forward to receiving every month!
My family has done so many subscription boxes before and we switch them out every now and then. I get a monthly book one as well. We just stopped a geeky one a bit ago. One of the kids gets a lego one, another child gets a chemistry one. My oldest daughter is looking for one right now for her monthly curse as she calls it. LOL We have done art ones and learning ones too and I think we will be hunting another art one soon!
