One of the most delightful movies of 2018 for us was SMALLFOOT. The music and storyline was unexpected and fantastic. It showed the hard side of making some hard choices and why sometimes people lie for what seems like the right reason. It also helped to show my children another example of how sometimes a large group of people can believe something and that belief can be wrong, but still serves a purpose that can be positive. This movie helps people have great deep conversations that are so important in our modern world where we need to see things differently and we need to change. We really loved sharing our SMALLFOOT review when the movie came out!

Whatever you do, don’t get me or my husband this movie:
Too many plot holes and an ending that made us say “Why did we just watch this?!?” We both felt it wasn’t great a few minutes into it and by the middle we both thought it had to get better some how and then by the end…. just…. no. We love horror movies but this one we felt like it was a flop, like some how they had to have left out scenes that would make it all make more sense or make it feel like a full story. Maybe it was a better book?
With having family members who are huge Marvel fans, Black Panther, Deadpool 2 and Infinity War are obvious choices. I’ve heard a lot of great reviews about Jurassic World!
Ou family movie nights for a long while were the Marvel movies in chronological order. It was a blast with 5 kids! All of us are crushed though by Infinity War and it was so hard to add to the list but we have hope the next one will make this one worth having in the future!
