It is that time of year and love is in the air. At least it is for a lucky few of us. Not everyone though has someone special this year. Know that you are not alone and we care! If your lucky or alone this giveaway is for you!
As humans we have 5 senses, you know them of course, sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. So often the last one is over looked. We know that scents have the power to pull memories out of us that we thought long forgotten. They can shape a moment, change a mood, and so much more.
Think about it, is there anything as sexy as a guy right out of the shower smelling manly and clean? How about that smell of home from your mothers famous pie? Or the smell of the coming rain on a hot summer day? The smell of the first spring flowers? The smell of a carnival, a rock consort, the old book store, all help you remember and make memories. Scents have a powerful effect on our lives, though often times we forget it. Think about that signature scent of a women you know. I think we all know at least one women who always has on that one scent that she loves. For me the women is a best friend and for her the scent is “Lovely” a fragrance by Sarah Jessica Parker.
I can’t forget this perfume, as for so long I have watched people ask her about what perfume she had on because she smelled wonderful. She really does. The scent though, doesn’t smell on me like it does on her, I must have a different PH and I know fragrances smell different on different people. So I keep searching for the one scent that just screams ME.
Not every woman though has one scent she identifies with. There are many women who have many perfumes that they use depending on the time of day, the event, or their intention. Some men know by the perfume their wives are wearing that she intends to get intimate with him that night!
I feel lucky to have been given the change to review a fragrance that is new to me called “Versace Bright Crystal” www.fragrancenet.com sweetly sent it to me. I was surprised at how quickly my order was mailed and how wonderfully it was packed.
I had not tried this one before honestly and so I picked simply by reading about the scents it had in it and the reviews of it on the site. It was listed as a casual scent for anyone. I noticed some scents are listed as “mature” and some as “College” among others. This scent has magnolia, iced accord, yuzu, musk, pomegranate, acajou, peony, plant amber, lotus flowers. I can actually smell some of those even and it is light and sweet and not over powering. On the site it gives other information like how long the scent should last for, this one it is 6 – 10 hours. Because of this site I learned a lot about perfume I have to say and I will be ordering and learning more from them I am sure!
I was also sent two samples of scents recommended by the Social Media Coordinator and they are very different from the perfume I picked out. Let me tell you about them too! Violette Angel for women is for sure deeper and more sexual!
I can smell the first three in it well actually: vanilla, sandalwood, and patchouli, with lower notes of fresh citrus, melons, peaches, and plums. It is a great scent that to me really says Valentines Day Night Out (or in!)!
I could go on and on about these fragrances but I don’t want to forget one of the important things I learned about this site!
