A Sunday Smile!

I love snow, my children do as well. It is any wonder we are a bit sad that almost midway through January we don’t have snow? Not even a little bit. I guess we can look online for snow to being some more smiles to our Sunday:

Another wonderful snow creation from far away:

Would love to give someone credit for this photo but I can’t find it!

Another photo from that festival that looks like so much fun:

One thing is for sure, the next picture is anything but cold!

Simon

I have a dream, and it looks a bit like this! Shhhhh

My oldest daughter has a dream as well, and its name would be Simon!

Might our dream be a few hours south in Troy, VA?

I know it has not been that long since our very old dog died but it is so clear that we are missing him and while another dog can’t replace him, it would give us a chance to share our love with another animal, and fill the hole Lucky dog left in our lives. The younger children still ask if they can go visit him someday, as if one can visit a dead loved one, as if death is a place one goes and not a state of being. We have told them that they can not visit death, but that Lucky knows that they love him and it is ok to miss them.

My family and I used to live in upstate NY. We went to Lake Placid last winter and it was awesome because we got to see Ice Sculptures! It was the first time I had ever seen something like that!
They had a huge castle made of all ice. My daughter was in heaven!
    That little puppy is adorable!

The pics are wonderful! So much talent! We don’t have hardly any snow either. The last huge snow storm we had was Feb of 2011. Last year and this year have been very low snow years…I hope we have a least one good snow storm! About 15 inches would be good!
