The nutribullet is wildly popular right now and maybe with good reason! Unlike most blenders it actually can handle seeds and peels and unlike juicers you don’t lose the fiber and so much more.

So why drink an Antioxidant smoothie at least once a week? Because Antioxidants are great for your immune system. They can help your body fight infection and illness. Antioxidants fight free radicals that are known to cause cancer. As cancer grows to be one of the biggest killers in America, with many causes, we need to fight it every chance we get. One of great ways to do this is with healthy, organic, whole foods, specially those high in Antioxidants. The Nutribullet lets people pack in all the goodness without losing quality or substance. Plus, the nutribullet is easy to use.

I wasn’t sold on this product when I first heard about it. Thankfully one of my best friends sometimes knows better than I do so she got me one as a gift. Goodness do I love her and I am lucky to have her in my life. (Thank you Brina!)

Nutri_Bullet_Recipe_Ingredients_Antioxident

Antioxidant Bliss Smoothie Recipe 

Blueberries – 1 cup – 9,019 Total antioxidant capacity

Black Plum – 1 whole – 4,844 

Red Delicious apple – 1 whole – 5,900

Add Kale (for 50% greens) 

Add 1/2 Avocado

Recommended amount of water/almond milk for the sized cup. I used the large cup!

TIP: Add a boost with Selenium Powder!

If your used to very sweet foods this one might not taste sweet at first but it does after a few more sips. The plum can give it a bit of a bite at first but the full wonderful flavor follows soon after!

      The kale might take getting used to if you don’t have it often, baby spinach works too! For someone who can’t get in enough greens they are great in smoothies!

      The Avocado adds a healthy fat to the mix and makes it smooth without any dairy! Really can’t taste it!
