A blogger I am in circles with posted something rather negative about someone. It raised some questions. It wasn’t even that I disagreed with her. I started what I thought what a dialog on her facebook wall. Innocent enough. It turned into something all together different than a conversation. In short, I was told to sit down and shut up, that it is her wall, and she doesn’t want people who disagree with her posting and that if one does disagree, that the posts should go like this:
Person A: I think this one way about this one thing.
Person B: I am not sure about what I think about that but what about looking at it this way?
Person A: It is my opinion, end of discussion or we can’t be friends.
This person thinks it is crazy to talk, question, wonder, or further communicate or have a dialog about a topic. I was floored. I guess this fits my definition of sheeple, someone who is not willing to even talk about a topic as they could not possible have reason to think or research or talk about a topic further. It is just… so closed minded. I guess it should not shock me, but to be called Crazy as I like to question and talk with and listen to others even if we do not agree…. that crossing the line. So this is my post to all Sheeple. Call me what you will but it is clear just what your acting like and it is sad.
Now of course this is not a positive post and your free to question me and disagree with me. I could after all, be wrong. I am ok with that. I am willing to learn and grow and change.
