ULTIMATE OMEGA JUNIOR
This supplement for children ages 5 and up is a chew-able or gel swallow cap. It is marketed as having double the EPA+DHA for all the added benefits of Omega-3s. These are said to add support for healthy brain, eye, and nervous system function. Remember though, I am not a doctor! In my opinion though, Omega-3 is very important and I am glad to get these into my children when possible. 2 a day is the recommendation! So what did the kids say about this product that says it has a great strawberry flavor? My teen tried them and will not try them again…. she simply will not do it. Getting an kind of fish oil into this child has always been hit or miss! Thankfully my other children all like them though sometimes complain because the gel coating is thick and takes a while to break down to swallow. I have tried these myself and I must admit the kids are right about the coating and some of the gel caps taste more like fish than others. I think you should try these but also be aware your children might not love them! One of my children really does like them so it does great when giving them to her daily. No fuss with her at all and she can be very picky!
VITAMIN C GUMMIES
These Vitamin C Gummies are for children age 4 and up. -250 mg vitamin C per serving and have no artificial coloring, flavoring, or preservatives. This is a very big deal in this industry in my opinion. They are also 100% vegetarian and said to support a healthy immune system. They also provides antioxidant support. But will the kids eat them?
Yes, all my kids really like them. They describe them as being like a sour patch kid (candy). I specially like giving these to the kids when I think they have been exposed to things that could attack their immune systems. As these are not candy but taste like it, be sure to use common sense and keep these out of reach of children like all supplements! The kids really, really, like them!
