Review — The Zero Scale

When I first heard of this scale I near jumped for joy, though chances are if I had I would sprain another ankle! I have to go easy with diet and very very easy with workouts for medical reason. I have the same goal I have had since I gave birth to my first child though, to lose the weight. It is very hard with my condition but by far the hardest part is the emotional one. How great it would be I thought to not have to see the number I loath when I go to check my progress. The second thought was, shouldn’t I know what my weight is? Isn’t that important? I mean I am asked for it often enough to remember cringing every time I have to respond with the vial numbers I so despise. It was a blessing to have these questions answered the first day I received this masterpiece.

Right out of the box the scale is sleek and dare I say it, sexy. It is solid though at the same time. Right away I put my old scale out of the way and put this one in it’s place. I read the directions that are easy to understand and got on it. I will get to the specs of this scale in a moment. The first feeling when getting on the scale was stability, there was no movement. My other scales all moved a bit, wobbled a bit when settling in. I never liked that feeling but thought it was because of me being over weight and the scale protesting it. Turns out, it is not me, it’s those other scales. This one didn’t move at all. Not even a little. Stepping on to the glass one has to wonder if it will hold you, but again it doesn’t move at all in any way. So point 1 goes to the Zero Scale. Next I saw the scale show it was day 0 and recorded my weight as 0.0 and I was good with that, a new start. My second question was answered in the directions, this scale can tell you your real weight if you want but you have to ask it to correctly, by turning it to “guest mode” when you go to use it. Simple as that. There are 4 user settings for 4 people and the 5th is guest mode.

The next day, I couldn’t even hold off a full 24 hours I stepped on the scale not expecting it to have changed much but curious to see what it would show me. The following photo is what I saw:

It showed day 0 as it had not been 24 hours since I first weighed myself and then it showed I had a 2.4lb loss! Even with how much I ramble and write I can not express the elation I felt then and now. There was no big number to ruin it for me. Now I can’t tell you what it going up would feel like, if any different than how the large number feels, but I will update when that sad day comes, and it will I know, not everyday is a great one!

To sum up the facts of this emotional motivating scale:

– You never have to see you weight again when using it.
– You can if you want to though.
– It is a high quality solid product.
– It can store up to 4 users and has a guest mode.
– It can be used by those wanting to lose weight, those wanting to gain, and those trying to maintain.
– It has been recommended by professional trainers for clients.
– Simple to use.

In my opinion, if I had known this product was out there, I would have gotten it over the other scales I have had. And this one is replacing my “biggest loser” scale from now on.

The scale also came with a Zero Pedometer that tracks steps and calories too a nice added touch to help motivate and challenge us to walk more.
In closing, I am so glad to have this scale in my home now.

I’ve never seen a scale that keeps track of the amount of weight loss. This would definitely be motivating.
