This past July I had a beautiful baby girl 5 weeks before her due date. I was caught off guard and hadn’t gotten the recovery support belt I had intended to have. I started to use this one later than I intended but I do think this has helped get things back to where they belong. Recovering from having a baby isn’t easy and support really helps.
I found this one a bit tricky to figure out. It has triple support with three velcro areas. You can put it on standing up or sitting down. It is helpful right after the baby to get your inside parts back into the spots they are supposed to be in, and then later it is great for helping the tummy shrink and giving you back support when lifting baby. It is wide enough to be used as a corset as well. My sister used to sell corsets and so I have always heard a lot about them. I like how much back support this gives but also how easy it is to bend in it. I have fibromyalgia and wasn’t sure if this would effect my soft tissue pain and pain points and gladly it doesn’t though I can’t wear it all day while most people can. I still have a long way to go but I think this is helping. So much support in these three velcro areas for sure and so adjustable.
It is made out of 12% Polyester, 48% Nylon, 20% Bamboo Charcoal, 20% Rubber. It is very stretchy and the quality is really good. It lets me bend and twist without issues. I wash it in the washing machine on cold and I hang to dry.
